Aussie towns expected to face once-in-200-year floods
The nervous citizens of the Australia expected to face for the once-in-200-year floods. Australia’s government said that this serious flood would bring their country into the critical time, as the crisis of the flood could be the costliest natural disaster ever in their country. The hub of Horsham is expected to be the worst hit area as more than 40 villages have already been influence. At least 31 citizens had been killed by the flood at Queensland. Many properties of the citizens had been destroyed by the deluge includes their houses and cars. In economic, there would be a heavy economic cost toward the damage of the entire infrastructure. There would be a big affect toward the government and the local citizens.
I feel upset and anxious when I read the news. I couldn’t estimate how much natural disaster has happened in our world. People lost their lovely home, property; family and might lost their lives. However, human are weak creature, as we cannot change our destinies and also stop the disaster from taking your life. I feel so lucky to born in a disaster free country but I cannot predict anything to happen in the future. Besides that, is that any guarantee that we can stay healthy and safe until we are old? It is no! The only thing that we can do is to appreciate life given by God and to enjoy everything great on our earth and go through our life.

Besides that, prime minister also announced a RM 8.5 million allotment from Felda for expand the infrastructural programme. The programme including the 500 houses that given to the second generation Felda settler which allotted RM 17,000. The prime minister said that the allotment for the Felda settler can help them to extricate themselves from being the part of the 40% of people with low income and can categorized the Felda settler into the moderate income group in Malaysia. Prime minister also mentioned that all the Felda settler not only have to remember what the benefit they enjoy now but also have to make sure they would continue to bring the benefit for their community and the country.
From my point of view, the allotment for the Felda settler is leading them to a brighter and better future. They can develop their community well without worry about the money and at the same time to change their life from becoming the low incomes group. I feel proud of our country and hopefully we can stride forward to become a prosperous and developed country by giving aid and help for the difficult position group.
